Proton CEO - Taking things for granted
Salam.
We Malaysians are taking things for granted in 4 main things. Please prove me wrong , will you?
First, we will one day die off. Socrates from Brazil FA has died, so did George Best. Sudirman Hj Arshad also joined the list of the dead ones. So the fact is , we are all going to die. Today , tomorrow or sooner …
Second, the public toilets in Malaysia are always wet and very dirty. The visitors of these so called toilets have to do this . Fold their bottom legging of their trousers many times to avoid the shit/ water and all kinds of dirty things from the ‘lakes’ of these filthy toilets.
Thirdly, in business areas , the local traders do not bother to smile and say something nice even though we are buying their food every day ..come hot or rain. I expect a simple thank you. Seriously?
Finally, Proton are also not doing that either. I bought 3 Protons already in the span of 25 years. Iswara, Wira and Exora. I bought those cars so that Malaysian technology will be abreast with TOYOTA, DATSUN, FORD and what not. How ever, never have I got a Birthday Wish from Proton come day or night. After spending 100K on the three machines, at least I would be getting a simple Hari Raya Card. or angpow say RM1/ on big occasions. Alas my eyes are always white. This is different from Toyota. After I bought Vios , a month ago, the sales man keep on asking .. is the machine doing OK Doctor? See? a simple gesture, a simple wish .. may keep old customers fully loyal to PROTON as long as .. until death calls us apart. But being taking things for granted .. PROTON has lost a long and reliable customer once and may be for ever. Perrrrr!
Long life you my dear driving all those wonderful machines!
Wallahu aklam.
